Course objectives
The course focuses on the topics of ethical behavior in dealing with people in connection with the provision of health care in general, and the specifics of ethical behavior in the use of behavioral intervention programs and responsibility to patients/clients and to others (close relatives, legal representatives, etc.). Ethicalrules for responsible behavior of assistant of behavioral analysts, which are defined in the Code of Ethics for Behavioral Analysts (Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts). The teaching will also present and analyze the daily ethical challenges in the practice of the assistant behavioral analyst and their proper solutions.
Learning outcomes
Students are familliar with Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
Students understand the meaning of responsible conduct of behavior analysts towards clients and other stakeholders.
Students can describe and reflect on situations leading to violation of ethical rules and they can suggest solutions to ethical conflicts.
