Course objectives
The student is able to use the writing and printing form of the Cyrillic alphabet, both in reading and in his own written expression, masters the basic rules of Russian spelling and is able to read with comprehension, understands the spoken word. The student is able to communicate in basic life situations, leads a dialogue on the simplest topics. Masters the basic vocabulary and understands the basic phenomena of Russian grammar.
Learning outcomes
The student is able to communicate in basic life situations, to participate in the dialogues on simple topics, he knows the basic vocabulary and understands the basic phenomena of Russian grammar.
Syllabus
  • 1. Declination of noun неделя, declination of personal pronouns, verb - увлекаться чем - interested in something.
  • 2. Future time of verbs, differences between сейчас, теперь (now / now), verb успеть.
  • 3. Declination of masculine and neuter nouns, verb in the past tense, reflecting the need (нужно, надо, придётся).
  • 4. Adjectives. Season and months.
  • 5. Conjugation of verbs - II. type. Conjugation of the verb хотеть, construction Можно? - Нельзя.
  • 6. The basic numbers from 30 to 1000, the age statement,У меня есть in the past and in the future tense and negation.
  • 7. Motion verbs and their prefixes, use "there" in Russian.
  • 8. Basic numerals 2000 to billion. Question.
  • 9. Conjugation of verbs мочь, помочь; Changing the stem consonant in declension of nouns.
  • 10. Talking on the phone.
  • 11. "False friends"
  • 12. Revision lesson.

Teaching methods
Students work with-electronic materials and use electronic support study, fulfil homework. Seminars.
Assessment methods
The credit consists of two parts: 1) written, 2) oral. Written test of the subject matter (success rate at 70%), then an oral interview with the teacher on the topics covered. The student will also prepare a glossary of the vocabulary expanding the vocabulary to the topics discussed / or to the topics that interest him (50 new terms).
