- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to design and implement art projects for preschool education that will offer children the opportunity to learn through appropriate experiential methods and forms.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to: - reflect on the practice of artistic activities; - apply experiential forms of education; - conceive, realize and reflect on an artistic series.
- Syllabus
- Art series and projects and their application in preschool education
- Basic principles of creative art activities and their application in practice (creative and safe environment, differentiation and individualization, communication and cooperation, learning to be creative, learning in contexts Creating learning situations by "immersion" as learning in action
- Respecting and applying the principle of the child's so-called close experience in an educational situation
- Understanding and transferring the principle of "diversity and difference of children" and the specifics of their artistic expression (understanding difference as a valuable resource for more effective learning) into practice
- Planning of artistic activities with an emphasis on working with chance, play, open-endedness and supporting experimental and research-oriented creation
- Thoughtfulness, organization, management, ability to improvise and flexibility in teacher planning
- Cultural, artistic or natural monuments in the vicinity of the kindergarten as a starting point for artistic and other creative activities - shaping children's relationship to cultural values, art and the environment through creation
- Presentation and reflection of implemented artistic activities, sharing experiences from pedagogical practice (video, audio recordings, photo documentation) - implemented in collaboration with the subject

- self-study of professional, inspirational and methodological sources, reflective techniques
- Assessment methods
- Presentation and reflection of a realized art series intended for children in preschool education. Presentation in the form of an annotated audio recording, video or photo sequence. The created file - a continuous text supplemented with expanding knowledge resulting from the reflection, together with photo or video documentation, should be submitted to the IS submission office.
