Course objectives
The course is an introduction into the issues of professional pharmaceutical German. It involves widening of the general fluency level (oral skills, reading skills, writing skills, grammar, vocabulary) with the focus on practical oral skills. Attention is paid to the basics of working with a professional text: the word order study, typical grammar phenomena and text comprehension and reproduction. The topics include pharmaceutical education, human anatomy and physiology, human diseases, drugs, prescription reading, industry abbreviations etc.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Zopakování a prohloubení znalostí morfologie a syntaxe němčiny, rozšíření slovní zásoby o odbornou medicínskou a farmaceutickou terminologii. Práce s odbornými texty (čtení s porozuměním, reprodukce). Konverzace jak na obecná témata, tak zejména na témata z oblasti anatomie, zdraví, lidských nemocí lékárenské praxe.
    Cílem výuky: rozvíjet schopnost praktické komunikace v obecných konverzačních okruzích, nově zapojovat
    aktivně odbornou terminologii a získat schopnost pracovat s odbornými farmaceutickými a lékařskými texty.

    - slovní druhy (podstatná jména, přídavná jména, zájmena, ........)
    - slovesné kategorie, včetně konjuktivu
    - syntax, slovosledy, věty vedlejší
