Cíle předmětu
The goal of this course is to familiarize students with different approaches to scientific writing and improve their academic writing skills to prepare them for writing theses in English.
Výstupy z učení
Participants will be able to use academic vocabulary in English; write successful titles, abstracts, paragraphs, and individual sections of a thesis.

The course will consist of weekly seminars, individual writing tasks, problem-solving and discussion activities.

A portfolio of texts written during the course and an extended piece of academic writing submitted in the exam period.
