- 1 lecture + 1 seminar
The lectures will present the most important theories of philosophical and theological hermeneutics: Gadamer's conception, Bultmann's demythologizing project, Ebeling's and Fuchs's theology of Word (Worttheologie), the hermeneutics of katholic theology by Schnackenburg and Schlier, the contribution of Heidegger's theory to hermeneutics, the continuators Grondin, Figal, , and the criticism of these conceptions by Albert and Habermas.
In the seminars we will analyse the texts of the above mentioned authors. - Syllabus
- The introduction to the problems, the contribution of Heidegger's existential description
- Gadamer: the relation of language, understanding and understanding of myself
- Gadamer: the interpretation of text
- Gadamer: the interpretation of artistic works and the interpretation of history
- Bultmann: "the fourth man" and the fundamental onthology
- Bultmann: the method of demythologization and the existential interpretation
- Ebeling and Fuchs: the Word of God and the language
- Ebeling and Fuchs: the existential interpretation of the New Testament catholical theologist and the hermeneutics (Schlier, Schnackenburg, Vögtle, Mußner)
- the criticism of hermeneutical methodology (Albert, Habermas)

- Kurz bude zakončen zápočtem a kolokviem. K získání zápočtu je potřebná účast na semináři , k získání kolokvia pak vypracování 1-2 stránkového eseje na některé z témat probíraných na přednáškách či seminářích kurzu a krátký rozhovor nad ním.
