Course objectives
The seminar will focus especially on the reading and analysis of concrete texts of literary criticism. It will contain the introduction to methods and procedures of literary criticism and especially the writing and analysis of students' own critical texts. The participants should have some elementary orientation in current literary criticism and be well read in current literary periodicals. Credits will be given for the writing of two critical texts and sixty percent attendance.

František Kautman: K typologii literární kritiky a vědy. 5-13. The analysis of concrete critiques and reviews.
