Student must be able to read the philosophical text in English.

The basic knowledge of Plato and the Neoplatonists is expected.

Course objectives
The seminary will focus on the theory of ideas. It will try to show the similarities and differences between the Plato's and Proclus' views.

The seminary will use especially The Parmenides by Plato (the Czech translation) and The Commentary On Parmenides by Proclus (the English translation).
