Course objectives (in Czech): Zwischen 1918 und 1938 entwickelten sich am europäischen Theater die verschiedensten literarischen Strömungen, die auch in neuen Inszenierungsstilen auf die Bühne gebracht wurden. Die Lehrveranstaltung beschäftigt sich nicht nur mit wichtigen Dramen dieser Zeit, sondern davon ausgehend auch mit neuen Darstellungsformen und deren Reflexion in der Theaterkritik. Auch das damalige deutschsprachige Theater in Brünn wird anhand einiger hier gespielter Stücke vorgestellt werden.
