- Course objectives
- Reading and interpretation of Popperś The Poverty of Historicism. In the seminar, students will prepare presentations on other Popperś works. At the end of the course, students will be able to understand Popperś concept of society and basics of his approach to scientific method.

- K. R. Popper: Life and work
- Reading of The Poverty of Historicism. The course of the interpretation will be influenced by the specificity of each seminar.
- Relation between social and natural sciences.
- Popper and social philosophy and philosophy of history.

- Assessment methods
- After the introductory lecture on Popper, students will learn and analyze his work The Poverty of Historicism. The interpretation of the text will be completed by presentations on selected Popperś work and critical works on Popper. Final written exam.
