Course objectives

Lecture cycle presented by an Italian lecturer, designed to discuss a wide range of Italian cultural issues, social and language aspects, and focusing largely on Italian regional issues.

Syllabus

• Italian regions – geography, economy, history. Cities (factual data, tourist information). The arts, folk art and tradition.

Literature

• Enciclopedia De Agostini, 1991

Assessment methods

Credit – to be announced by the lecturer at the beginning of the semester. Once enrolled in the course, attendance is mandatory. Examination - written and oral part. Only such students as have successfully passed the written exam are allowed to take the oral part.
