Course objectives
Issues in cognitive processes, transdisciplinary methodology, artificial intelligence and existing trends of philosophy of mind and cognitive science are major themes for the course. Students are introduced to fundamentals, reason and current situation of cognitive science. At the end of this course, students should: - Have an understanding of concepts of cognition, neurodynamical systems, artificial intelligence, mind-body problem, science of consciousness and ethic implications of neuromanipulations - Understand the importance of a transdisciplinary methodology of cognitive science and a conceptual analysis in philosophy of mind - Be able to present final paper
