Course objectives
A lecture series outlining the development of Czech drama and theatre in the years 1945-1968, the changing relationship of state and cultural politics. The main focus will be on the metamorphoses of genre and style of the dramatic and stage works in the period, the poetics of original dramatic produce and their productions.
