Prerequisites
DVBZ001 Qualifying Exam
This is compulsory course for second-year students of Theatre Studies. The student must have passed the qualifying exam DVBZ001 after the First Year.

The course aims to develop practical skills in working on archive materials related to the history of theatre. At the end of the course student will be able to: locate the most important archive resources available on the internet;
analyse archive resources;
examine the relevance of selected archive resources;
collect archive resources;
evaluate archive resources;

  • 4. Resources and literature;
  • 5. Czech theatre posters;
  • 6. German theatre posters;
  • 7. Hand-written documents;
  • 8. Stage manuals, scripts;
  • 9. Theatre photography;
  • 10. Stage drafts;
  • 11. Letters - correspondence;
  • 12. Final summary, conclusion.
