Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with a general overview of the topics in history of the Czech and German theatre in Brno. At the end of the course student will be able to define the specifics of the theatre history in Brno; appraise the differences between the Czech and German theatre in Brno; explain the role of the Czech and German theatre in the cultural history in Brno; describe the most important artistic features of the theatre in Brno.
