Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows: at the end of the course the students should be able to apply philosophical thought to psychology and the sciences of man; to apply the fundamental philosophical terms during their studies of the sciences of man; to interpret the texts from the branch of philosophical anthropology and the sciences of man.

  • Human being in German Classical Philosophy: I. Kant, J. G. Fichte, G. W. F. Hegel.
  • W. James and his conception of human consciousness.
  • German philosophical anthropology: M. Scheler C. G. Jung, his philosophy and the theory of Self.
  • The conception of human being in hermeneutics and existentialism: W. Dilthey, M. Heidegger, H.-G. Gadamer.
  • Ch. Taylor and his conception of the Sciences of Man.
