- Course objectives
- The seminar is aimed to provide a deeper introduction into Sanskrit language by collective reading, analyses and translation of Bhagavadgita. It presupposes the knowledge on the level of courses Sanskrit I-IV.
After passing the course the student should:
Read smoothly in devanagari script.
Orientate in the Sanskrit text.
Translate easier parts of the Sanskrit texts for himself.
Seminar will be continued. The reading for the following course is dependent upon the students' development. - Syllabus
- Continuous reading of the Sanskrit text of Bhagavadgita. Approximately 10 slokas per one meeting.

Requirements for colloquium:
To pass the student will demonstrate his skill in reading and translating the Sanskrit text. He will have time to prepare the task and referre to the dictionary and a grammar aid. - Language of instruction
