Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to introduce the theme of morbidity and experiment in Czech literature to the students. Both prosaic and poetic artworks are to be analyzed and interpreted.

At the end of the course the student will be able to:

- articulate the most common forms of morbidity and experiment in Czech literature;
- interpret the texts obtaining the topic of morbidity;
- identify the authors connected with morbid and experimental texts;
- evaluate the aesthetic effect of this type of literature;
- think about the use of morbidity and experiment in other areas of art (painting, music, theater, film).
