- Course objectives
- The focus on health care and medicine development supported by the evidence of preserved archive documents from the period 17th to 19th centuries. The medical care and the society relations illustrated by contemporary resources. Objective description of a situation of people suffering from dangerous diseases and epidemics in the past.
- Syllabus
- History of medicine, medical care methods and state regulation (prescription) in the periods of epidemics. Terms, terminology. Studying, reading and the interpretation of the resources.
