- Course objectives
- This course will make students familiar with the theoretical concept of comics, its development and it will also focus on practising interpretative skills connected with this interdisciplinary genre and a specific narrative mode. Attention will be paid to both Czech and foreign works. At the end of the course students will: orientate themselves in contemporary comics production; be familiar with important authors; be able to reflect the composition and structure of individual works in a greater detail and will be able to interpret the comics.
