Course objectives
The course is a a consecutive course of Japanese Language II. from the previous semester. Flawless knowledge of hiragana and katakana is imperative. The aim of the course are complex verb structures and more challenging vocabulary in order for the students to be able to express themselves in everyday Japanese. The objective of this semester’s course is the shift from verbal to written expression. The Japanese characters kanji will form a part of the course curricullum.

Teaching methods
Grammar explanation and drills.
Assessment methods
The final examination will have a written and oral form. The written part will summarize the classwork, focusing on hiragana and katakana. The test will be a condition for the advancement to the oral part of the examination.
