- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject Human-computer interaction is to familiarize students with theoretical and practical knowledge of the field. After succesfull completion of the course, students should be able to: - defince HCI field, its history and current trends in the field, - understand principles of design and evaluation of interfaces, - identify and take advantage of distributed cognition and appropriate mental models when designing interfaces and interactions, - use methods for identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation design of existing facilities or design new products (user needs analysis, personas), - practicaly use tools for designing interfaces (paper prototyping, scenarios, storyboards), - practically evaluate environment according to standardized methods and procedures.

- Assessment methods
- Students evaluation will be based on the outcome of the team project (max 50 pts) and on their own initiative ( feedback on other teams projects) (max 50 pts). In order to pass the exam students must obtain at least 65 points.
