- Obtaining of the appropriate amount of credits in M. A. degree of study of the Latin Language and Literature. Enrollment into M.A. Final Thesis Seminar.

- Course objectives
- The student chooses the topic of his M.A. Final Thesis after a consultation with the teacher of a related course from the Latin language or literature. The teacher also selects the supervisor for the M. A. Final Thesis.
Upon completion of this course, students have demonstrated their ability to implement a research plan on a specific topic, conduct research independently and present the results in a standard written form, which meets the standards of academic discourse. - Syllabus
- The nature of the syllabus depends on the topic of the M.A. Final Thesis. It usually includes: searching for the literature; searching in the sources; treatment of the constituent problems; formulation of individual chapters; treatment of the notes and supplements; list of the literature and sources
