Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to understand simple text or spoken word in Esperanto. Students are able to converse on common topics and will be able to know and explain the basic grammatical rules.

  • 1) Paŝo unua - Tre moderna fabelo (Aŭld)
  • 2) Substantivoj participaj (Aŭld, page 33)
  • 3) Esperantem za tři měsíce - lessons 20 - 40
  • 4) Vocabulary for selected topics: Vl. Němec - Ni parolas esperante, Esperantem za tři měsíce - lessons 41 - 60.

Teaching methods
Exercises according to the lessons from textbook, reports on the topics within self study hours.
Assessment methods
Homeworks - written reports on the topic of conversation for every lesson. Colloquium: Interactive test of grammar: 25 questions, assessment of 25 points, for successful management of at least 18 points; an oral examination.
