- In order to be admitted to the seminar, a student must have successfully finished the 4th semester of their studies, obtained the required number of credits and fulfilled the required readings.

- Course objectives
- a)student of the two-subject bachelor study programme writes B. A. minor thesis in the non-diploma subject; for minor thesis a maximum of 40,0000 characters is required; b)there is no defence of the B.A. minor thesis; its acceptance is confirmed by the supervisor who also grants the respective number of credits (z = zápočet) or provides another type of evaluation (according to the study regulations of the respective subject). The topics for minor theses are assigned by the following teachers at the Department of Classical Studies: Bartoňková, Bartoněk, Radová.
- Syllabus
- Students consult their supervisor and choose the topic for their B.A. minor thesis, they attend the B.A. minor thesis seminar and discuss their theses with their supervisor.
- Literature
- příslušnou literaturu zadává vyučující podle povahy práce
- Teaching methods
- Individual advisor-student tutorial in methodology of writing the minor thesis: synopsis, introduction, methods of text analysis, argumentation and conclusion.
- Assessment methods
- The advisor awards the course-unit credit for the semester on the basis of the submitted thesis meeting formal requirements. The minor thesis is not defended and receives no grade.
