Course objectives
The aim of the course is to develop the knowledge about European and Czech historiography from Enlightment till today. The students will learn about personalities, main trends and methodological approaches. They will understand paradigmatic changes, key social discussions of historians and relationships of history and social sciences (philosophy, sociology, political science). They will develop the knowledge they gained in the bachelor degree programme.

Written examination aimed at testing the student’s insight into the main theories, concepts and methodologies of the discipline and at checking the student’s ability to connect relevant facts into logical relations.
