Course objectives

Practical course of Slovene lanugage - translating different types of texts (articles, contracts, instructions) from Czech to Slovene lanugage.

Syllabus

• Translating oral and mostly written texts. Themes will be topical, connected with different circumstances, important for translators.

Teaching methods

Reading, translating, homeworks, class discussion.

Assessment methods

An evaluation of a translated Slovenian novel. Workshop attendence required.
