- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide basic knowledge of Latin esp. for the practical use in art-historical field.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to orientate himself in the simple Latin text of the art-historical content.

- Art - Historian praxis: Outline of different fields of using Latin in art-historical context. Inscriptions. Latin Sources. Artworks and Latin. Latin calendar. Paintings and Latin. Written sources. Grammar- Basics of the Latin morphology, especially 1st-5th declension and 1st-4th conjugation.
