Course objectives
After completing the course students will be able to understand the cultural development and to explain the main stages of the ethnic history of Sorbs and interpret Sorb-related questions in relation the ethnic majority.
Syllabus
  • The description of Lusatia from the natural, geographical and historical points of view Sorbs and their ethnic history. Traditional culture and its ethnic-identification role. Czech-Sorb cultural relations. Assimilation trends.
