Course objectives
The finished film / audiovisual work is preceded by a complicated path of its completion, involving a large number of people and technologies in a variety of ways.
Film is not only a collective work, but also a complicated product whose creation takes about one year to finish and today costs about 30 million crowns.
The result may not even have to be an exact reflection of the director’s or screenwriter’s intentions.
Another long journey of film or other distribution follows.
The course is conceived as a practical guide of the film production pattern from the production plan and theme through financing, production and post-production to distribution strategy.
The course is based on contemporary film and television practice.
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with terms and circumstances surrounding film production / audiovisual work, both generally and on a particular example.
