The prerequisite is the elementary knowledge of Bruno Schulz’s works: Cinnamon shops and Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to interpret the literary and visual art work of Bruno Schulz as well as its "adaptation" in various fields of art – so-called "liberature" (cut-out novel), comic or graphic novel vs. manga, film or theatre adaptations.
Learning outcomes
Students after passing the course:
- will be knowledgeable in adaptations of Schulz's work in other artistic genres: liberature, comic, film or theater;
- will be able to name these genres theoretically on the basis of professional concepts;
- will be able to interpret individual adaptations independently.
