Study stay at a university abroad. - Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is only offered to the students of the study fields the course is directly associated with.

- Course objectives
- The course is focused on the development of academic skills, that are necessary for independent scholarly research, which is realised during the student´s stay abroad. The aim of the course is to train the students in systematic work on:
- - proper bibliographic searches connected to their dissertation
- - archiving and recording of the materials of written or oral character
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- make a realistic and effective plan of a research process at a foreign institution
- work systematically on collecting data for dissertation project, be it work in archives or sociological research
- systematically archive the data to dissertation project - Syllabus
- The content of the course is arranged individualy according to the progress of each particular student´s studies and thesis. Following phases are required:
- 1. Before the student´s departure abroad exact plan of his/her work is created. This plan has to be consulted with the supervisor of thesis and is uploaded into IS
- 2. All changes to the plan which occur during the students stay abroad have to be negotiated with the teacher of the course and supervisor.
- 3. After return the final report is uploaded into IS
- 4. The student produces a report which is intended as an information guide for future students going to the same institution.

- Assessment methods
- The students are required to:
(a) create a plan of their stay abroad;
(20%) (b) submitt inal report and demonstrate materials, they have gathered during their stays at foreign universities. Their amount, relevance and quality of archiving and record will be assesed. (60%) (c) report of the stay for other students (20%). - Language of instruction
