Course objectives
Aim: deduce of communicative skills and abilities of students in Ukraine with accent on discharge of errors which are caused by interference before Czech and Ukrajine in the field of grammar and lexicon is supposed. On employment students address to Ukrajine cultural realities discuss and translate Ukrajne art and special texts.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course the student will be able to communicate in Ukrainian on the CEF level of B2.
Syllabus
  • Nouns. Possessive case endings of nouns -a/-y
  • Variants of endings /noun possessive case masculinum declension type II / vocative
  • Numerals. Collective multiple fractions and indefinite numerals
  • Connecting cardinalnumerals with nouns and adjectives
  • Counted object with numerals
  • Date and year
  • Expressing numeral approximation

Teaching methods
One two-lesson seminar every week. Regular practical training of oral and written knowledge. Additional practice. Widening the lexicon – translations. Deepening the knowledge of realia – by a form of a paper.
Assessment methods
Evaluation methods 2 progress tests + oral examination. Other comments Requirement to be allowed to sit for the summary examination is a credit for the written test.
