- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the field of legal translation, present basic resources and possibilities of training in this area, and demonstrate possible translation methods and approaches. In the autumn semester, the hands-on translations will be contracts.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, students will be able to:
- translate legal texts with respect to the differences in legal systems
- communicate in an informed way with commissioners of legal translations
- look up information and terms in relevant sources - Syllabus
