Course objectives
This subject will deal with Catalan grammar corresponding to level B1 of CEFR. This means that students will learn about nominal morphology (gender, number, suffixation, pronouns, adjectives), determiners (articles, demonstratives), quantifiers, verbal morphology, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, passive voice and relative clauses.
Learning outcomes
This subject focuses on communicative competences corresponding to B1 level of the Common European Framework of reference. This means acquiring an appropriate language for the common communicative situationsrelated to work, school, entertainment or travelling to a Catalan speaking country. It will also focus on grammar, in particular: nominal morphology, determiners, quantifiers, verbal inflection, adverbs (time, place, direction, manner, quantity), prepositions, conjunctions, passive voice and embedded clauses.
