Course objectives
Qualifying Examination is final control examination after first year of study. It is prerequisites to subject of third and fourth semester. There are at least two committee members.
Students should prove ability to:
. define basic concepts and theories
. descibe information science domain
. understand and interpret literature in czech and foreign language
. apply Mahara software to present outcomes of work and study
. evaluate information architecture of website
. employ basic methods of information retrieval
. be able to create and defend a scholarly text
