Course objectives
Getting to know the content, goals and methods of aesthetic education. Application of findings in a model lesson of aesthetic education and in specific educational situations.
Learning outcomes
Students completing the course will be able to:
1.) orient themselves in the various concepts and bases of art education  
2.) reflect contents, methods, forms and evaluation in the field of art education
3.) reflect current issues in the field of art education (multiculturalism, gender, etc.) and teaching in practice
4.) reflect implementation of forms of aesthetic education in the Czech Republic   (RVP, music school, leisure centers, further education, gallery and museum activities ...)
5th) reflect the difference between aesthetic activities and other educational (or therapeutic) action relate to art
6th) apply theoretical knowledge and information and own reading into specific educational situations in practice

  • Development of creativity and creative work in art education
  • Evaluation of art education
  • Forms of art education (RVP, music school, leisure facilities, gallery and museum activities ...)
  • Current trends in art education (multiculturalism, gender, etc.)
  • Creating contents of aesthetic education: theoretical basis and practical issues
