Course objectives
Based on a general didactics, a student will get to know a musical didactics. He will be able to think didactically about musical phenomena, handle procedures suitable for prepraparation of musical education classes on various levels of difficulty. Within the exercise he will get an overview not just about problems concerning educational profession, but also about related research work (observation, exploration and experiments focused on different forms and situations in musical-pedagogical communicaton.)
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to think didactically about musical phenomena and will master procedures suitable for the preparation of music education lessons at various levels of difficulty.

  • 2. Pupil, learning styles of a pupil
  • 3. Curriculum and instructional objectives, material didactic instruments
  • 4. Didactic principles and organizational forms of instruction
  • 5. Didactic analysis of the curriculum and teaching methods
  • 6. Paedagogico-psychological diagnostics
  • 7. Prepration and execution of the teaching
  • 8. Evaluation of results of the teaching

Teaching methods
The subject combines a form of a lecture and a seminar, uses group projects and class discussions following presentations.
