Course objectives
This course aims to deepen and consolidate language skills at level B2 of the CEFR, paying particular attention to oral and written expression, supported by authentic documents of various types (print media, media, audiovisual resources, etc.).
Learning outcomes
Output level of language according to CEFR: B2 At the end of this course, students should be able to: present an oral presentation and write essays on a range of contemporary topics; understand medium-long audio(visual) documents in spoken standard French; engage and maintain a conversation in standard French on a wide range of topics.

Teaching methods
Seminar-style teaching with active participation and a focus on student interaction. It is mandatory for students to come prepared to class. A maximum of two unexcused absences are permitted, otherwise penalties will apply.
Assessment methods
Continuous assessment (formative assessment): series of short oral and written assignments that must be completed in order to be eligible to take the final exam.
Final assessment (summative assessment): presentation + written exam.
A = 100-90; B = 89-82; C = 81-74; D = 73-66; E = 65-59; F = < 58%
