German drama in the second part of the 19th century; R. Wagner. Situation before and after 1900 (G. Hauptmann, F. Wedekind, H. von Hofmannsthal, A. Schnitzler, C. Sternheim, P. Ernst). Expressionism and its main representatives (G. Kaiser, E. Barlach, E-. Toller). The Twenties and the Thirties. B. Brecht and the epic theater. Exile. First years after the war, W. Borchert.
