Course objectives
History of Fenno-Ugric/Uralic researches. Detailed genetic classification. Descriptions of chosen languages: Finnish, Lappish, Mordva, Mari, Udmurt, Hungarian. Historical - comparative phonology and morphology. Stratigraphy of lexicon and its implications for linguistic archeology. Students present descriptions of the chosen languages.

  • Souhrnná literatura předmětu není, jednotlivé materiály jsou zadávána postupně při výuce.
Assessment methods (in Czech)
Výuka vychází z výkladu učitele, studenti se na ní podílejí vlastními referáty na základě literatury zadané (a často i zapůjčené) přednášejícím. Kolokvium je rozpravou o lítce probrané v průběhu semestru, a to nejen o výkladech učitele, ale i o poznatcích z referátů.
