Povinné je absolvování kurzů Psychologie osobnosti I. a Dějiny psychologických systémů. Předpokládají se aspoň částečné znalosti z oborů Obecná psychologie (2 semestry) a metodologie (1 semestr).

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to give an overview of the main theories of personality. The lectures are devoted to selected theories of personality which represent main paradigms in psychology in XX. century - psychoanalysis, behaviourism, humanistic psychology, trait approach and cognitive psychology. Seminars focus on the practical applications of individual theories in personality research and clinical practice.

  • 1. Úvod do teorií osobnosti. Teorie, její definice a funkce, zdroje teorií osobnosti. 2. Psychoanalýza a od ní odvozené teorie: S. Freud, A. Adler, C. G. Jung, K. Horneyová, H. S. Sullivan, E. Fromm, E. H. Erikson, H. Murray. 3. Humanistická psychologie: C. R. Rogers, K. Goldstein, A. H. Maslow, V. E. Frankl. 4. G. Allport 5. Behaviorismus: I. P. Pavlov, B. F. Skinner, C. L. Hull, J. T. Dollard a N. E. Miller. 6. Konstituční psychologie: E. Kretschmer, W. H. Sheldon. 7. Rysový přístup: R. B. Cattell, H. J. Eysenck, pětifaktorový model osobnosti (Big Five). 8. Kognitivní přístup: "pre-kognitivní" teorie (G. Kelly), teorie pole (K. Lewin), sociálně kognitivní přístup (A. Bandura, W. Mischel), kognitivní přístup založený na zpracování informací.
