Course objectives
The two semesters long optional seminar (around 14+14 lessons) is aimed at expanding the linguistic and literary abilities for creating both journalist, professional and (quasi)literary texts and elaborate the individual style of the author. The participants will attempt different writing techniques supporting imagination and a-linear thinking, stimulation techniques, techniques eliminating blocks, collective authorship and problem sollutions. The necessary feedback important in revising the texts will be achieved by discussion of the texts produced during the seminars.

  • The themes of the different seminars: Acrostic, Anthropomorphization, automatic text, Brainstorming and brainwriting, Clustering, Digression, Double clustering, The eleven, Collage, Collective text, Lyric prose, Picture cluster, Reviving photography, Descriptions from different space perspectives, Writing in pairs, Story, Snow-ball, Looking for themes, Unblocking, Stimulation (music, literature, fine arts), Revisions, Perceiving macrostructures, Narrating in different time perspectives, Sound metaphors, Genre variations.
