Course objectives
The position and functions of political institutions in the Russian Empire during the 18th and 19th centuries: the State Council, boards and councils of ministers, the State Duma, Senate, provincial and city dumas, analogies with the past and present in the context of European history, the contents of reform packages, the opinions of conservative politicians.
