Course objectives
This course surveys major approaches to the assessment of individual differences in cognition and personality. The uses, abuses, and limitations of such measures in terms of administration, scoring, inferences, interpretation, and ethics are discussed.
Syllabus
  • 1. Theoretical introduction. The fundamentals of the work with diagnostical methods. The possibilities and the bounds of the different diagnostical procedures and methods. Riska. The ethical aspects. 2. Practical training: the administration of the chosen methods with psycholog students (tests of the inteligence, tests of the special issues and hte particular psychic functions). 3. The discussion on the epxperiences with methods used.
