Course objectives
This course is aimed only for Socrates Erasmus Foreign Students and is teached in English language. Course is focused on introduction in moral psychology, past and current approaches to the study of moral development, moral reasoning and dilemma solving.
Syllabus
1. Terminology: morality versus moral psychology, moral action, moral dilemma, moral development, moral judgement, moral reasoning. 2. Theoretical approaches: psychoanalytical approach, social learning theory. Moral relativism. 3. Clasical cognitive-developmental approaches - Piaget, Kohlberg. 4. Gender differences in moral dilemma solution, ethics of care versus ethics of justice - Gilligan 5. Moral self - Blasis koncept - effect for moral psychology 6. Real life moral judgement and clasification of dilemmatic situation - Wark and Krebs.
