- Course objectives
- The course will deal with selected chapters of Australian history in film. The film presentation will enable the students to understand better the relationships between indigenous peoples and whites. The discussions will adress the identity and acculturation problems and demonstrations of racism not only in the past but also today. Some attention will be given to the new generations of white Australians and to the position of women in Australian society.
