- 1. Introduction. Def. of style and stylistics 2. Functional styles: scientific and technical English. Synopses. 3. Administrative style. Letters, instructions. 4. Legal documents 5. The language of media (journalese). Newspapers 6. The language of media. Advertising. 7.Dialogic structure in prose. 8. Style in popular fiction ERATURA BOOKS to study: -------------- These are very often available only in one copy. As there is a whole range of them, they may be well complementing each other and thus enable you to contribute creatively to the discussion in the class.
