Course objectives (in Czech)
Přednáška je koncipována jako příspěvek k dějinám světového divadla a dějinám scénografie. Druhá část dvousemestrálního kurzu navazuje na předchozí seznámení studentů s počátky fenoménu Les Ballets Russes a tedy i s počátky světového secesního divadla. Cílem druhé části kurzu je tentokráte seznámit studenty s následujícím vývojem skupiny, vedené S. P. Ďagilevem. Zvláštní pozornost bude tentokráte věnována spolupráci Ďagileva s avantgardními umělci typu P. Picassa, E. Satieho, G. de Chirica, J. Miró atd. a proměňě původně secesního tvaru přes art deco až k surrealistické estetice konce 20. let 20. století.
