  • 1.-3. General Theory of Artefact and its Value. Philosophical a Axiological Presuppositions of such a Theory. Basic categories of artefacts and artworks. Appointment of each student for 2 short presentations connected to topics 4.-11.

    4. Types of value of artefacts not only for conservation.

    5. disegno, concetto & modeletto. Design & realization. Technical reproducibility.

    6. Arts & Crafts, Concept Art and arte povera, transitoric forms in the plastic art.

    7. Identity Criteria for Artworks. Goodman: one stage vs. two stage. Complex & multimedia Art. Synesthésis.

    8. Identity preserving operations: translation, adaptation, dramatization, and dramatic advising.
